The spouse/guest hospitality team will welcome you and help create an atmosphere of camaraderie and good vibes. No one likes to be an outsider, so we offer the hospitality lounge as a hub for friends new and old to get together, plan activities or just to relax.
The spouse/guest registration fee is an excellent value which includes: Name badge, Sunday Welcome Reception Festa Italiana, access to all exhibit hall happy hour functions, hospitality lounge breakfast (Sunday to Wednesday) and activities, and Western Section Night - the final night gala on Wednesday evening. Children: Families are welcome at the Western Section! A registered spouse/guest may bring their children at no extra charge to the spouse/guest hospitality room for breakfast. Children under age 10 may attend the evening social events at no charge. Junior tickets (age 10-20) are also available. Children under 16 are not allowed in the exhibit areas or sessions.
Spouse Hospitality Lounge - Portola Room
This is the hub for registered spouses and guests to gather and socialize before heading out for the day and will feature deluxe continental breakfast and various activities. Hours: 8:00 am – 10:00 am, Sunday through Wednesday. Registered spouse or guest may bring your kids at no charge. Tickets are included and required for admittance to Spouse Hospitality Lounge Breakfast.
Tuesday Carmel Shuttle - FREE
Tuesday, Nov. 5 – 10:30am-2:30pm
After the spouse hospitality, plan to hop on our group shuttle with friends where you can take your time, tasting, lunching, shopping, and sightseeing in Carmel village. The shuttle will drop you off (and pick you up) where you can set-out to the explore all within walking distance. There are also very nice restaurants for you to choose from to have lunch with friends (lunch not included). This activity is included in the spouse/guest registration package and includes round trip transportation. Must be a registered spouse/guest.

Recently named one of Wine Enthusiast’s 10 Best Wine Travel Destinations, tasting rooms scattered throughout, downtown Monterey, Cannery Row, Carmel by the Sea, Carmel Valley and the Salinas Valley, as well as small family-run vineyards and some of the world’s finest labels, are pouring some of the best wines available in the world.
Getting to Monterey
Getting to the Monterey Peninsula and the Portola Hotel is easy. Fly directly into Monterey’s hassle-free airport (MRY) located just 10 minutes from the hotel. Airlines servicing the Monterey Regional Airport include American, United, Alaska, Allegiant, and US Airways, offering over 80 flights daily. Shuttle Service: The Portola Hotel does not have a hotel shuttle service; however, guests are encouraged to call the Monterey Shuttle Airbus or Yellow Cab Taxi service to and from the hotel. Shuttle service is available to the hotel from Monterey, San Francisco and San Jose airports

Weather: The autumn season in Monterey is surprisingly mild, with occasional light rainfall and plenty of sunshine. Temperatures average around 68°F daytime and nights about 51°F so bring proper clothing.
Dress Code: Business casual. For exhibitors and presenters, resort style business attire. Resort cocktail attire at evening social events.
